Hi Everyone,
Just recently re-did the website!! As more and more content comes your way, I truly want this site to be the place you can go to hear new material, get linked into videos, updates, news, photos, etc. What do you think of the site? I've included some photography of mine in the header images as well...it has been fun to start using all those pictures around the design of the site/music. There are a lot of updates on the music front...have been in the studio quite a bit. I am working on a few different projects now. Some of it is working out new stuff, some of it is re-working older un-released acoustic sessions material. I will surely keep you all posted as things become completed and ready for you all to hear!! I also just picked up a Martin 00-15 that sounds dreamy. I have wanted one of these for a long time and the situation presented itself. I have a feeling that this beauty has so many songs inside just waiting to be heard. First moments playing around with it already provided a really enjoyable melody. I am very excited to have this new member of the acoustic family!! Stay tuned for new project updates and shows! Talk to you soon, Greg

There are times when I come across ideas, movements, groups, concepts, whatever...and I just think...man I want to be a part of that. It is something I want to share in or create something in the same arena. It has so many or all of the elements of what gets me excited to pursue ideas. I came across the website Shaking Through and pretty much became immersed in the mini documentaries, the songs, the photos, and the stories this place has to offer. Not only do I get to nerd out on all of the studio stuff, but the creative discussions about songwriting, the producing process, and the whole vibe of the site and the idea is fantastic. The videos and photos are really well done. You can see creativity and art and the blend of technology and technical expertise all in the context of music and film. Check out what is going on at this place, support them if you like via their kickstarter campaign, and who knows, perhaps someday our studio out here will develop/support something similar!
The day has finally come! After over a year of construction, the recording studio is finished! The room is complete, the gear is loaded, the power is on and we are ready to make some MUSIC! This is incredibly exciting and it is really going to be a wonderful space to make music to share with you all. A big thanks to Aaron Hall for really being the mastermind behind the project. Thanks to Jonah for lending a helping hand when needed. In celebration of this milestone occasion, we are throwing a BBQ at the studio's location in Oceanside today. Please get in touch if you would like to swing by! Can't wait to start recording some new projects for you all to hear! So as we were in the process of remixing the Balance Acoustic EP (which I know is long overdue, I apologize for the delay, I was just not totally happy with some elements of the first versions) my buddy Aaron mentioned that he wanted to turn his upstairs music room into a studio. But he wants to really do the best he can with what he's got. So, we are embarking on a project to build a studio that will be the real deal. We are in the process of sound-proofing the room now, hanging mass loaded vinyl (which you can see below) before we put in the acoustically insulated drywall. It's a big job but it's exciting. Keep checking back for updates as the project rolls along! Check out some of the before photos.
Recording the Balance Acoustic Sessions EP was such a great time. Having cello accompaniment was a really unique experience for me and I think it adds a nice flavor to the songs. Like peachy paterno ice cream, mmm mmm good. It was awesome to get to hang out and play music with my friend Debi, who worked hard to learn the songs, perform, and record. She also really opened the door for the opportunity at Lehigh's recording studio, which was a great way to both give and receive support with a music project. Thanks to Bill Holmes and his recording students for having us! And thanks to Debi for such a fun project! I hope you enjoy the featured songs in a more natural acoustic form with the beauty of a cello carrying some creative melodies. The songs themselves will be available soon, with artwork ta boot! More updates soon. Take care. Hello All,
My friend and wonderful cellist, Debi and I went off to the studio to record some acoustic tracks of select songs off the Balance EP. We laid down some tracks in an afternoon session that yielded some pretty cool results. These recordings will definitely have a raw, acoustic, intimate feel. Just guitar, cello and lead vocals going on this time. The songs are being prepared for release..but in the meantime, check out the YouTube channel for some video previews of the songs! Pictures of the session can be seen in the photos section of the website..check em out. Talk to you soon. A new side project featuring acoustic guitars, violin and cello has been in the works for a short time now. The blend of instruments has been a lot of fun to play with. The recordings turned out really neat and they should be available soon! Stay tuned for updates!
New album to be titled "Balance" with cover art seen above. Please leave your thoughts on the artwork and title!
